Research Partnerships: Buglife
Buglife are the only organisation in Europe devoted to the conservation of all invertebrates. They work to save Britain’s rarest little animals. From bees to beetles, jumping spiders to jellyfish, invertebrates underpin life on earth. Without them the world’s ecosystems would collapse. They really are saving the small things that run the planet.
They aim to halt the extinction of invertebrate species and to achieve sustainable populations of invertebrates. They research what 'bugs' need and then campaign for bugs. Their aim is for everyone to understand the importance of looking after biodiversity as a whole and what we can each do to help.
Wild Days Conservation are working with the charity to develop and test methodologies for citizen science projects including the expansion nationally of their Seashell Survey project.
