How we work with partners
We take a partnership approach with all our work. Wild Days' role is to provide a mobile task-force of well-organised, highly motivated and well-trained people to work on practical wildlife conservation and research activities throughout the UK.
We work in this way with charities and not-for-profit conservation organisations, National Parks, AONBs and protected area bodies, research institutions or organisations carrying out high-quality and valuable nature conservation work. Our partners are all transparent in their aims and activities and have robust conservation management plans supporting the work.
We recruit participants and provide experienced leaders who are able to take teams through all necessary training, allocate tasks and supervise/manage as appropriate. Local contacts from partner organisations drive the work that we undertake. These local contacts work with Wild Days Conservation to provide our teams with expert and in-depth local knowledge of the landscapes and wildlife within them during their time in the field.
Our other key partnership is with the people who become part of Wild Days by joining one of our holidays.
Everyone is part of a movement of people who together make a difference to wildlife in the UK. We're all pretty tiny in our ability to change environmental things, but together we make a big impact.
And making an impact doesn't have to be worthy or dull, it can be the best fun ever - which is the way we like to do it!
